<description>Hi, great blog, I drifted over here from LostArt Press, and I&#039;ve been laughing ever since.

Not being American, I don&#039;t really have the same patriotic compulsion - and if I limited myself to only buying tools made in New Zealand I&#039;d be working wood with razor blades - but your logic is excellent.

I do think that Festool is a German company though, and the tools are manufactured there. I may be wrong.

Keep up the great blog. It&#039;s great to laugh out loud and read about woodworking at the same time.

Cheers.

		<description>Hi Rob,
Thanks so much for your kind words. You&#039;re blog is very well done... interesting, well written posts. Great choice in theme too... a pleasure to look at! Adding to my RSS reader now right now.

Checked out your pro site and you do some beautiful work: http://www.rpwoodwork.com/gallery.html
That Bubinga table is just gorgeous.

		<description>Hey W.Z.,

This is funny stuff, keep it up!

I wrote a less entertaining post on the subject here:
http://www.rpwoodwork.com/blog/2008/10/21/need-a-new-tool-sure/

But I like your reasoning better! I&#039;ll reread it whenever I&#039;m considering buying tools.

On a serious note, thank you for your service in the Navy.

Excuse me while I get my credit card.

<description>I’m sorry that you are having to sell your very cool car. I can relate completely; a majority of my spare funds goes into woodworking. In fact, I have a second job just to help support my addiction, I mean hobby. :o)</description>
